By a Cop! I was 10th in line waiting for a traffic light to turn green on a fairly steep down hill slope. Problem was I also was just far enough around a tight, blind 15mph right hand curve.... so I'd be the first one ass-ended if someone took the curve too fast. As I sat there, I was leary of just such an incident. Sure `nuff... I see in my rear view mirror a guy coming round the curve a little quick, so I let off my brakes & roll forward about 3ft. If I not, the motorcycle cop would have surely tagged my bumper, and might have hurt him self. But thankfully, he was able to stop with 12" to spare. While still waiting for the light, the Cop rolled up next to my window as I rolled it down smiling not-so-smuggly. Cop: "Sorry `bout that one sir, didn't mean to get that close."
Me: "That's okay officer, I'll let you go with just a warning this time."
